JF9 Class Assembly Video and Photographs

Pupils in Class JF9 have been busy planning and preparing for their class assembly over the past week or so. They have worked together to choose items to present during the assembly and have also written the script.

On Tuesday 29th April 2008, the pupils performed their assembly to the whole school, including many parents who came along to watch.

A video camera recorded the action for parents and pupils to watch whilst Mrs Uzmen took some excellent photographs. Please do leave a comment with your thoughts on how well the children have done. Remember, not only were they the script writers, but also the show producers!

You will need to install the Apple QuickTime plugin to watch the video. This is a free download from the Apple website.

Mr Uzmen

Hi Mr Furness,

I'm not usually able to make it to assemblies but I was still able to see it thanks to this amazing blog. Letting the kids do their own stuff has made a much more interesting and fun assembly! I'm sure the other parents would join me in saying that we would like to see more of these!

By the way, putting homework assignements on the blog is very useful as we won't be hunting after homework sheets all the time! Also me and my wife feel much more connected to what goes on at school due to your correct application of contemporary technology which most other schools seem to have completely missed.

Thanks for all your efforts...
