This year jf9 have had a new project to learn about Africa.The first thing I learnt was about african school life. There classrooms are made out of planks of wood and have proper blackboards.The things they make most of there food out of is wheat and barley.Africa is just rocky plateau covered by grasslands with huge lakes feeding rivers such as the worlds longest river ,the Nile.The first great civilization in africa arose 6,000 years ago on the banks of the river lower nile.The search for maritime trade routes to africa to Europe in the 15th and 16th century.Slavery and colonialism followed.Although illiteary, poverty, disease and civil strife plauge much of continent Africas substantial natrul resources offer hope.
