![]() Hello my name is Megan and I am in year 6. Recently in Early Morning Work we have been writing our very own short stories about random things!!! I am going to do mine about...
A Pineapple, a horse, a motorbike, coco pops and Scotland. Ok here goes..... Love Is In The Air. During the spring time a horse called Old Ma Ketley was happily grazing on a hillside. It was a peaceful spring morning and the sun was rising behind the hills in the distance. Although Old Ma Ketley was a horse (who you would of thought would do things a horse would do) she was definitely not a common horse. She really was one of a kind. She had a small, cozy cottage hiding behind the hill in which she grazed and where the farmer could see her. But Farmer Fred had no idea she had a cottage. Every morning Old Ma Ketley would have a delicious bowl of coco pops, how you may be wondering, well easy! She shops in Asda. Her best friend is Peter the Pineapple, he never talks to me but apparently is very active and talkative. But Old Ma Ketley has a big crush on the village's cuttie: Orlando Bloom. He really is the cutest horse in the village. When he came knocking at her cottage door she was so excited!! (apparantly Peter was too) when she opened the door with excitment he explained his love for her and in the end they rode off into the sunset together on his flashy red motorbike. They weren't alone as Peter tagged along too. The end....or not???

![]() Last Saturday I had to get up at 5:30am because we had a train to catch. The train journey there was 10 hours to get to Scotland which is pretty long considering all you have to do is sit down and play on nintendo's and listen to i-pods but it was well worth it. I went to Scotland to see my Auntie Donna and Uncle Cliff and of course the dog, Sandy. The first few days it was raining so I spent time with their dog Sandy and despite the weather I took him for a walk. I also saw two of my three cousins Amy and Ashley. Me and Amy took Sandy for a walk around a forest where we found an abandonded boat and we walked through the forest. To carry on through it we had to jump over a little stream with the dog. Further on past that there was mud that my feet got stuck in! We also found a dried up stream and I found a dead fish, this proves there was once water running down there into the loch. Yesterday (Wednesday) I went to an animal park with my family and my Auntie, Cliff had work to do and Sandy obviously stayed at home with him. We drove around the park and we saw horses, they came over and they had their heads through the windows they were licking the windscreen and one tried to climb on the bonnet, it marked the bonnet! :) so Donna squirted the water on the windscreen because there were loads of cars behind us and they galloped of. We also saw camels, moose, deers, horses, bison, artic fox, red panda, polar bear and many more. It was a brilliant day out!
I returned from Scotland today, the train left at 8:00am and we returned home at around 6:00pm. I had a great time in Scotland and I'm never going to forget it! please comment on my blog and have a look at these photos. Oh okay, the photos won't work please comment if you know what to do.
