I've had quite a busy day in Brightlingsea, installing a piece of software which monitors the local weather and puts the information onto a webpage. Have a look at what I've been doing today:
Brightlingsea Harbour Weather Data
As some people will know, I sail a raceboat which spends some of its time racing in Brightlingsea. In order to do well in the race, it is important to have really good information about the weather, especially the wind direction and how strong the wind is blowing. We are hoping to be able to view the weather data when we are racing on board Cracker, the race yacht. Who'd have thought we'd be using computers on the water!?
