athletics

 Im kinda startin' to look forwards 2 athletics.......got a really good feelin' 'bout going,(and hopefully totally winning!). Go Kings Road! We're gonna do this!

On Wednesday 18th of mach the athletics team went to brentwood. We had to get to school by 7:30. It took us 45 minutes to get there. When we got there we had a short traning sesseion were we had to do the obstacle relay just that it was not a race.

These were the track events:

• 1+1 girls
• 1+1 boys
• 2+2 girls
• 2+2 boys
• 6 lap parlauf for the girls
• 6 lap parlauf for the boys
• over and under relay
• obstacle relay

      These events arer the field events:

• Soft javelin
• speed bounce
• vertical jump
• triple jump
• long jump

Lots of us were worried before our races becuase this was the big final.We were also able to see our chinese schools competing they even went through all the trouble to buy exactly the same equitment we were able to see the chinese children compete on a massive screen. We also got some autographs by Sarah Clacton Bejing Olympic  finalist. She signed quite a few of our t-shirts, shoes,arms,certifcates and some peoples heads.But most of all we had fun.On the coach we still had lots of fun.When we came back we got changed and went outside to eat and play on the field.
