Do you believe in Ghosts?
Pupils in Class JF9 took part in a debate about whether ghosts were in fact real. We assembled in a local village hall (the classroom) and had experts from The Ghost Hunters, The Ghostbusters and Scientists. These experts came from far and wide, Ms Megan C travelled all the way from American and added some local dialect to her contributions.
The issue arose because local residents had spotted some unusual happenings at 32 Vine Street, a deserted, run-down house which was due for demolition. The Town Council representative (Mr Furness) wanted to know if the suspect ghosts would continue to play havoc on the local village after demolition began. He asked the scientists and the ghost experts for their views, which were well argued and thought through. Although everyone contributed to the debate, we didn't reach a conclusion.
A particularly fierce property developer (Mrs Leslie) joined in the debate and offered her views, the debate, however, continues.....

As town councillor, I have decided to grant the Ghostbusters 4 weeks in order to extract any ghosts from the property, 32 Vine Street before demolition begins.
I have to conclude that from the meetings we have had, I can't see any evidence for ghost activity other than the unexplained scream that could be heard from the property by Ms Megan K.
There are some claims of ghosts clambering onto the backs of the Ghost Hunters and Ghostbusters who were both given the opportunity of staying inside the house for a period of 6 days to conduct their own studies.
My concern remains, what would happen if the so-called ghosts were to be evicted? Would they cause problems in our village?

[american voice] Hi um it's Miss Megan and um this ghost concern is true um us Americans wouldn't lie. I have like um just came back from number 32 and I um have seen a REAL ghost! and that chat about me under a um sheet I would never um be silly and um like I said um you all need contact lenses so um well err that explains it all!! they just make it up! and when is our um next meeting?? also people say that Mc Donalds do GREAT BURGERS man!! where is it any way??

Yes, well, its all very well Mr Furness and Miss Megan but time is money for us poor property developers! As we heard at yesterday's meeting, the so-called blood at no.32 turned out to be nothing more than JUICE!!!!!
I have inspected the said property, with my contact lenses in, and I can categorically state that if there is a ghost in that property then I will never eat chocolate again!!!!

Poor property developers? I think that is pushing the realms of reality Mrs Leslie....
...that aside, I'm hoping that Ghostbusters are successful with removing the ghost from number 32 and that we could move this development forward so that we can revamp the face of Vine Street.

I think its a good idea that were talking about how believes in ghosts.
I believe in ghosts because I've seen one how SCARY is that. If you saw one you would be freaked I was a little scared when I saw it but it didn't scar me it was just a little fun when you see it that means you have proof. It gets on your nerves when people don't believe you. But I still believe in them no matter what people say.
