My Puppet

On Saturday the 24th May (my birthday) I got a puppet. The puppets that we have at shows in the school. She is called Melanie and both of my nans got her for me. She came with a pink top and a purple top on top! Today my nan took me into town and we went to look for some clothes for Melanie. We found a black Bratz T~shirt and luckily it fitted her! you will all be seeing her on Monday morning when we come back to school! here are some rules about puppets...

1. Don't touch a puppet unless you have washed and dried your hands.

2. Don't touch a puppet's face.

3. Treat a puppet the way you would like to be treated yourself.

4. Put the puppet back in a/your box when you have finished with it.

5. It is not a toy!

Puppet show rules...

1. Keep your puppet up high.

2. Don't put your arm down  in the middle of a song.

3. Make sure arm rods have been put on right.

and the main rule is...

 

LOOK AFTER YOUR PUPPET THEY COST ALOT OF MONEY, £2O.00 PLUS THAT!

Hi Megan,

This entry was really interesting to read and I feel like I've learnt things that I didn't know before. Maybe you can put a puppet show performance on for the rest of the class? Perhaps you and Alex L could work on that together?

Well done for adding a photograph of the puppets, pictures make blog articles come to life I think.

Hi Mr Furness, the picture of the puppets don't really look like the ones we've got at school, although I did type in Kings Road Puppets but it had no images I was looking for. You will see what the puppets look like on Monday.

Thanks for giving me the idea of a show, tomorow I will tell Alex what you said about a mini show. If she says yes than maybe we could write a script together at school or home and we could read the script out and make our puppets pretend their saying it.

I should be quite good a lip sincing because I have been practising in the holidays.
