Behavior at kings road

At Kings Road Primary School we have traffic lights. They are all about your behavior. There is a green spot, the green means your behavior  is fine and how it should be. The yellow spot means you've done somthing wrong and you are put on a warning. The red means well you haven;t listened to your first warning and you get put on the red and there for you go into time out. Time out is when you stay in at playtime and if it's really bad you may stay in at lunchtime! Not to worry. But if your younger you sit on a red chair. In the cloakroom or out side the class room. And thats being bad  but also there is a gold star. Which is fantastic!! if you have done somthing even better you go to are head teacher who's called Mr Kyriacou, he might give you one of his gold stickers!! wow!

Hello Megan,

A great blog entry. Thank you. I will probably add a new section to this blog so that we can see all the pages that make up the Student Handbook for the school in one place.

I really like your description of the behaviour system. As a new teacher myself, there is much to learn and your work has helped me enormously.

Do you think we should have a naughty chair in our classroom? Although, having asked that, children in JF9 are all too wonderful to ever need one. ;-)

Mr Furness

ps, Please could you look at my spelling of behaviour and see if you can correct your version please? Please also check that you have used capital letters for names of places. Thank you.

I think I've corrected them all if not please reply!!

Mr Furness

Hello Megan,

Well done for correcting most of the words in your article. I did just notice a few additional errors:

behaviour (look closely!)

something

cloakroom

Perhaps you could add these to your look, cover, write, check words?
