Batik

This week we swapped classes and we went to Miss Whites class and we done batik. First we drew a pattern in our sketch books then we drew it out onto a small piece of card. After that we went over the faint pencil lines in white paint and then the colour in our sketch books is the colour of our Batik. When we finish our Batik we are going to melt some wax and paint it over some fabric. We are really enjoying doing our Batik.

Hello Hannah

Did Megan give one of her sunflower kits to you?  I planted mine yesterday but I didn't know how deep to put the seed!  I just guessed and now I've got my fingers crossed that something will appear!  I must remember to water it as I usually forget to water plants!!
