 Dear Year 6's I guess that now nothing shall be the same! We are all very sad about you leaving. Most people in CN6 (my class) were very upset! The leavers assembly was worth it for 2 hours! The corigraphy was incredible! I'm counting down the years until I leave! I cried when you did the last song! I'll always treasure my memory of the Year 6's! Can I just say Brooke J and the sunglasses guy (I apoligise that I don't know your name!) But yes I think you put a big effort of having to go up and down! You'll need a good rest Year 6's!!! Fabulous poem, Erin! So thoughtful and your words are well chosen.
Although there is a great sadness when people leave, I'm a big believer in looking forward, never back. Our Year 6s are a credit to the school and they will continue to be fantastic role-models in their new schools.
I also believe that once you've been part of our community, you remain with us and for that reason you will always be a member of the Kings Road Blog site, for eternity!

In fact, as I wrote in Megan's Leavers Book, all Year 6s automatically become members of the Kings Road Alumni, which means...
""a graduate or former student of a school, college, or university"
Many schools and universities have something called an Alumni, which is just a group for those who have left.
I'm hoping to create a special area of the blog site so that you can maintain your own space for sharing your thoughts, feelings and news of how you are getting on, with each other and of course other pupils at Kings Road who aspire to move on to Secondary School.
