I love Google Earth - what a cool program.
I once saw that Google Earth had captured an aeroplane flying over the school where I used to work. It was quite funny seeing an aeroplane shape placed over the top of a map. :-)
Perhaps you can tell me how we could use Google Earth in our research work on Africa?

Hello Molly,
What a good idea to use Google Earth to find out more about Gambia. It might be interesting to see if you can estimate the amount of land covered by desert, rainforest, or any other type of feature, like water for example.
I've not been to Africa and is probably one of the last remaining continents yet to be explored by me. A friend of mine is teaching in the Gambia right now, she has just offered a place for me to stay should I decide to venture out to that far off land. :-)
Might be worth interviewing your Grandma and Grandpa to get some information from them about their time in Kenya?
See you tomorrow
