Blogs at Kings Road Primary School
some learning reflections from the staff and pupils.
Last night I went to London for a 'flight' on the London Eye. I've been on it during the day but wanted to see London at night with all the lights. Something happened which made it even more fun. Before we got on, a man asked us if we would take a photograph of him with the group of people he was with, using his camera. My husband took the photo of what turned out to be the management team of the London Eye. They insisted on taking us to the front of the queue and upgraded our flight to a champagne one which meant that we were able to see the amazing sight of London at night whilst drinking champagne! It was a fantastic evening! I've got some photos but seem to have lost the little box that enabled me to insert them with the text!
Are you there Mr Furness - I need your help!

Mr Furness
Opps, sorry, my mistake. I was playing with the site earlier today and I removed something I shouldn't have!
Try now.
ps... what a wonderful opportunity for you and your husband. Very envious. I've been on the Eye during a really clear day, but never at night. Gosh. Champagne too - would love to see a photo or two.

Thanks Mr Furness, I've got the box back now - I successfully added one photo but when I tried to add another one I lost the first one!! I'll keep trying but I might just have to make do with one!

Well, I've managed one but not quite the one I wanted - it's mainly of Big Ben with the Eye in the background - still I've learnt something because this is the first time I have posted one of my own photographs!

Hello Mrs Leslie and Mr Furness,
I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your lovely learning space! Mrs Leslie - uploading photographs now, your ICT expertise is going from strength to strength which is just as well as we have a 'creative' Powerpoint presentation to produce.
Good luck to everyone at King's Road :)

Hello Mrs Gosling, what a surprise to see your name appear on our blog site! I hope that you are looking forward to our pond-dipping at university tomorrow. I was hoping to post a blog about it afterwards, perhaps with a photo, if I remember to take my camera.
Thank you for your kind comments about our site and my ICT skills - as you know I've had to learn pretty quickly over the last couple of years!!

I too am envious! We were last on the Eye when Jonathan was about 18 months old!! I fancy a trip on it at night but just never quite got around to it. Maybe we will plan it into our Easter holiday calendar.........

Hello Marie
Yes, I did enjoy the London Eye and I would go on it again because there is so much to see and learn about London. Would you like to go on it? Some of my friends wouldn't because they are scared - I don't know why because it actually feels very safe - it goes around very slowly.
