This is the Garden Project blog page where pupils and staff can share their experiences and learning in the Quad.
Phase 1 involved clearing space in the Quad and building five raised beds.
The pupils have been busy sowing seeds which have now germinated and are ready to plant out in the raised beds.
Building the Raised Beds in the Quad
Tue, 10/06/2008 - 22:40 — Mr FurnessOn Saturday 24th May, staff, parents, pupils and helpers came to Kings Road Primary School to begin building five raised beds in the Quad.
Whilst the adults did much of the heavy digging, lifting and construction, the children were involved in nature projects, such as weaving and nature scavenger hunts. Later, you will see them active in both planting and watering.
