I really enjoyed this afternoon, particularly because children made their own decisions about how they were going to learn to read. Without any intervention on my part, children took themselves off to enjoy paired reading and the delight in sharing a book.
This can only happen with understanding how we each learn best and how there is a need for children to make their own decisions and act on them.
Well done Class JF9, I was particularly proud of you this afternoon, hence the photograph!
