![]() Hi my name is Megan, I hope you all remember me as I left in July, I didn't know what to put in the group so I'm still going to be in AK14 :) This time tomorrow I'll be on my way to Boswells, (hopefully there). I haven't even packed any of my stuff :) Typical me to leave it to the last minute :). I still need all black joggers and a pe jacket, They are sooo strict and its really hard to find all the things you need! Fingers crossed I won't have pe on Thursday or Friday so I'll have chance to look somewhere for them.
Thankyou for reading my blog!!

![]() Hi my name is Megan and I am in the Isle Of Wight with other Kings Road pupils. The coach trip down was good, it went really quickly! I sat next to Frankie T on the coach and we ate lots of sweets. When we were waiting to get on the ferry I was sat next to Jade and we were listening to my i-pod really loudly and we were head banging ;) All the other people in other coaches were staring at us. It was about half an hour on the ferry and we then arrived at the other side. We then went to Amazon World and saw lots and lots of really cute animals! I bought a magnet in the shop with two owls on it and it says "Isle of Wight".We then came back to the hotel and had yummy soup for starters, followed by hotdogs and then a piece of cake for dessert. Later on we had hot chocolates and then we went of to bed. I shared a room with: Emily, Jade, Frankie and Alex S.
I woke up this morning about 6:20am and everyone else in our room was up as well, Then Alex had a shower and it was really cold! Actually it was freezing, Alex survived but when I got in I was whining as it was freezing so a teacher came in and, we must of turned the switch of so I then had a lovely, warm shower! ;) Today we are going to a Castle and a farm and later on in the evening we are going fossil hunting. Hope all my family are okay and not missing me to much!! How is Snowbell?? :) xx

![]() Thorpe Park. Hello my name is Megan and on Tuesday me and my family went to Thorpe Park, I wasn't really looking forward to it as I don't like rollercoasters but it was a brilliant day out! Despite the weather (it was raining all day) me and my family still had a great time! As it was raining the queues weren't very long so I queued up and got on the rides in no time! I went on a ride called "Flying Fish" (I will post a picture at the bottom) about ten times! I went on the spinning tea cups about three times and the rapid ride three times! We had a really fun day out at Thorpe Park, if you would like to look at the website here is the address.... http://www.thorpepark.com/
Chessington. On Wednesday we went to Chessington World Of Adventures, it was ok but not as good as Thorpe. First me, Hannah (my 14 year old sister) and Dad went on the swing ride, It goes up really high and then it leans over so at one point you are spinning around higher and sometimes you are lower, jets of water near the ride also get you rather wet!! We went on this ride twice (I have put a picture at the bottom). Afterwards we went on the Dodgems and me and Hannah shared one and Dad was in his own one, as I was driving Dad kept bumping into us a lot!! I was just getting used to steering as when you steered left it went right, confusing! But I did manage to hit Dad and some other people! :) On the way back home it was very hot and there were traffic jams so.....our car over heated!!! It just stopped working and Dad had to get out and push it onto the Hard Shoulder, me and my sister quickly got out of the car and sat on the hill near the road for safety, Mum put the bonnet up so it could cool down and we all sat on the hill for over an hour waiting for the AA. Everyone was staring at us as they went past, but I suppose you would! Anyway, the AA man came and we got towed to a nearby car park thing where he fixed the car so we could get home, this took around 40 minutes, we weren't the only family to brake down as two other families' cars over heated as well. We left Chessington at around 3:30pm so we should've got home at around 5:00pm but instead we arrived home at 7:30pm! Here is the website link for Chessington and a picture of the swing ride.... http://www.chessington.com/
London. Yesterday (Friday) me and my family went into London to meet some of our friends who live quite far away from us. First of we went to Camden Market and the weather was extremely hot, especially as we were in the city. We went round lots of the stalls and there were lots of food stalls so the people on the stalls kept talking to us offering us a sample, I just said no thank you and kept on walking ;). We looked at lots of different stalls and shops and we went into one shop called "Cyberdog" and it has lots of really funky clothes like: flashing t shirts, glow in the dark hats and really weird and wacky clothes and gadgets!! Its a shop you would go in on a night out though, hehe. All the staff had different styles like green hair, bright pink hair and really big shoes!! It has two really big robots outside the door as well. Later on we all went for lunch and me and my sister, Hannah had chinese while Mum and Dad had mexican wraps. After we had eaten by the cannal we met up again and sat outside with some drinks, I had lemonade. Later on me Mum and Dad went around the market and I bought a really pretty necklace and a ring, we then made our way back to the cannal where we met up again. We all got on a barge and went for a trip down the cannal with other families. After a while we went to London Zoo to pick up people on the boat, it was mainly children. Before they got on it was nice and peaceful then there was loads of shouting and lots of noise and we were fed up so instead of getting off at Camden we got off a Little Venice and went for a walk around. Later on we got a tube to Trafalgar Square and went to this place...It was part of E4 and it was a blow up stage and the stage outside was a shape of a cow, Im not sure what the thing is called but they have comedy shows in the evening, anyway we were allowed onto the ground around it but not in the stage so we were allowed to sit down and have a drink for as long as we want. This man came up to us while we were drinking and he said he wanted to practise his magic tricks. One of his tricks was he ate a piece of cotton and then pulled it out of his eye, YUCK! I think I know how did it as he had sunglasses on so...It was still disgusting though! He actually pulled cotton out of his eye!! :O The another trick he had was he had a pack of cards and he put them in Dad's hands, he did some other things and then he asked Dad to open his hands and there was a plastic block!! He must of put that in instead of the cards but it looked like he put the cards in!! AMAZING! He also did some card tricks and (all the cards were different) one of them was he had a specific card, he shuffled them and it was at the top! They were all different though as you could see they were, the he bent a card a put it in the middle of the pack so we could see it and then suddenly it just moved up the top! It was definitley the same one as only one was bent!! It had us all cuffufled for ages!! :) He was AMAZING and EXTREMLEY TALENTED! Later on we went on the London Eye. When we were nearly at the top it stopped for a while but then it was moving again. It was really weird but at some point we actually went back in the opposite direction! There was a little boy and he was screeching all the way round it got kind of annoying!! After that we got a tube (to somewhere!) and had Mc Donalds, just before we left to go home. We arrived home at around 11:00pm but it was worth it!! :)
I really enjoyed the days out despite the weather and some of the events! Thank you for great days out! Please comment! :)

Hello my name is Megan and I am in year six. We had two days of relaxing this week and doing fun things as last week we sat our dreaded SATS that are over now!
All day today year six's have been cooking!! In the morning we made a thing called "sweetcorn fritters" which is sweetcorn with a mixture that is then cooked. In our group was: Me, Emily W, Jade O, Maria B, Megan G and Alex S. While we were making the fritters we had to put a little bit of salt into the mixture, lets just say we accidently tipped way to much salt in!! There was quite a lot I suppose but we just strirred it in. Then we had to pour the mixture on a tray and we made it into little circles and they all mixed in together so while Jade was walking to put it in the oven, I quickly separated most of them with a spoon (well I tried). When they had been cooked we ate them and they were lovely! Afterwards we made...Welsh Rarebit which is basically cheese on toast but different as it doesn't just have cheese. Mr Sainsbury (our caretaker) made the mixture and we had to spoon it onto our toast and spread it. Then we could choose from these toppings: mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon. Unfortunatley there was no bacon left for our group so we had mushrooms or tomatoes, or both! So after we put the toppings on we put them in the grill and then ate them! They were really nice. In the afternoon we made another thing: victoria sponge! We cracked one egg, weighed out some flour and put some other ingredients into the bowl and after we had whisked and stirred everything we spooned the mixture in a tray and baked it in the oven for a while. When it was cooked it was taken out of the oven to cool down so we could put the icing on but everyone was getting bored and silly so Miss Ketley took us out for a run around to give the cakes time to cool down. When we came back in, the chocolate icing was put on the cake and our group (Nat L joined our group in the afternoon) cut up the pieces and had the option to have coconut on it, most of us did! Me and Maria B went up to a teacher who was giving out the warm, chocolate icing sugar and we got a big spoonful on our plate and when we walked past everyone in the small hall as we were eating it they rushed to get some, I must say Brook J's face was classic! When he saw the chocolate he quickly went and got some, we shared it with some other girls on another table as well. Today was great fun!!! Two girls from our Class: AK14 called Emily W and Jade O (Who were in our group) said "Today was the best day ever! We had some much fun in our group, I would love to do it again!" "It was fun to make the food and when we ate them they were really nice!" Quoted Molly L and Shannon C. I wonder what we will do tomorrow in class?
All the food we made was delicious and I want to say a big thank you to Mr Sainsbury who cooked with us, plus all the teachers, parents and LSA's that helped us

![]() Hello my name is Megan and I am writing a blog about the dreaded thing: Sats. I know, I know, sounds scary, but really "Scary Sats" are not anything to be worried about. On Monday morning I was really, really nervous about them. On Monday we had our first test: Reading. It wasn't actually that bad, I found it ok, just make sure you read the questions properly and check your work (BORING)! On Tuesday we had Short writing, long writing AND spelling!! It was the longest and hardest day as we had so much to do! But it was ok, we all survived even Jon had to face his worst nightmare: Spelling, hehe. :) On Wednedsay we has Maths A and Mental maths that wasn't too bad, So obviously on the last day we had Maths B which again, was ok. I wrote this blog to prove to everyone that Sats are nothing to worry about, my sister always said that to me and she was right! Just don't panic and stay relaxed and before you no it the week is over, which means one thing..SATS are too!!!! :D

![]() Hello my name is Megan and I am in year 6. Recently in Early Morning Work we have been writing our very own short stories about random things!!! I am going to do mine about...
A Pineapple, a horse, a motorbike, coco pops and Scotland. Ok here goes..... Love Is In The Air. During the spring time a horse called Old Ma Ketley was happily grazing on a hillside. It was a peaceful spring morning and the sun was rising behind the hills in the distance. Although Old Ma Ketley was a horse (who you would of thought would do things a horse would do) she was definitely not a common horse. She really was one of a kind. She had a small, cozy cottage hiding behind the hill in which she grazed and where the farmer could see her. But Farmer Fred had no idea she had a cottage. Every morning Old Ma Ketley would have a delicious bowl of coco pops, how you may be wondering, well easy! She shops in Asda. Her best friend is Peter the Pineapple, he never talks to me but apparently is very active and talkative. But Old Ma Ketley has a big crush on the village's cuttie: Orlando Bloom. He really is the cutest horse in the village. When he came knocking at her cottage door she was so excited!! (apparantly Peter was too) when she opened the door with excitment he explained his love for her and in the end they rode off into the sunset together on his flashy red motorbike. They weren't alone as Peter tagged along too. The end....or not???

I had the best Christmas ever!! I got a Pink i-pod nano, a pig toy, a piggy bank covered in gems, earrings, straighteners, a jewellery hanger, money, a Harry Hill annual, 5 CD's and other stuff. So thank you to everyone who got me a present!!!! Also thank you to Molly L, AK14 who made our family some chocolates, they were lovely!!! Also in the holidays Alex S came round, we had great fun! Recently Jade O came round and we were messing around filming videos on the i-pod nano, playing Twister, Twister Moves (Which is when you have to go on the coloured spots and dance to the music following the instructions on the CD!) We were also looking at funny videos on youtube, "With Reggae Reggae Sauce that's Supercalifragelistic, Sing with me man!" If you don't know what I am on about, well I'm not surprised me and Jade were singing it! (ROFL) I will put a link at the bottom if you want to see it! Basically we had so much fun!

![]() Last Saturday I had to get up at 5:30am because we had a train to catch. The train journey there was 10 hours to get to Scotland which is pretty long considering all you have to do is sit down and play on nintendo's and listen to i-pods but it was well worth it. I went to Scotland to see my Auntie Donna and Uncle Cliff and of course the dog, Sandy. The first few days it was raining so I spent time with their dog Sandy and despite the weather I took him for a walk. I also saw two of my three cousins Amy and Ashley. Me and Amy took Sandy for a walk around a forest where we found an abandonded boat and we walked through the forest. To carry on through it we had to jump over a little stream with the dog. Further on past that there was mud that my feet got stuck in! We also found a dried up stream and I found a dead fish, this proves there was once water running down there into the loch. Yesterday (Wednesday) I went to an animal park with my family and my Auntie, Cliff had work to do and Sandy obviously stayed at home with him. We drove around the park and we saw horses, they came over and they had their heads through the windows they were licking the windscreen and one tried to climb on the bonnet, it marked the bonnet! :) so Donna squirted the water on the windscreen because there were loads of cars behind us and they galloped of. We also saw camels, moose, deers, horses, bison, artic fox, red panda, polar bear and many more. It was a brilliant day out!
I returned from Scotland today, the train left at 8:00am and we returned home at around 6:00pm. I had a great time in Scotland and I'm never going to forget it! please comment on my blog and have a look at these photos. Oh okay, the photos won't work please comment if you know what to do.

![]() I have had a really fun half term, here are some of the things I have done...
Hotel For Dogs On Tuesday I went to the cinema in town to see Hotel For Dogs with Mum, Jade, Molly and Tegan with their parents. It was really funny and it was really good, It is about this dogs called Friday who lives with his owners but the children's foster parents don't know about Friday and then they set up a Hotel For Dogs in a old hotel even though they get split up they get back together. At the end it was really funny because the dogs were being pampered and the big dog had cucumber on his eyes!
Getting My New Bike On Friday I got my new bike from Cycle King in town because we were going to have a bike ride but my bike was to small for me so we walked into town and got my new bike which is half of my birthday present. Then we met up with my Nan and I cycled back home, the bike is soooooooooo cool!
Bolt Today went to see Bolt in 3D at the cinema with my family at 4:40, It is a really cool film especially in 3D! It is about this dog called Bolt who has super powers and his owner Penny, But they get separated and Bolt meets some new friends, a cat called Mittens and a hamster called Rhino. I won't spoil the ending though! Some bits of it were sad but apart from that it was great! Miley Cyrus played Penny and John Travolta plays Bolt. Thank you for reading my blog, please comment on it.
