Im so excited because on they 11th of March the cross country team will be going to Melbourne Park to do some racing around the perimeter of the park. Lots of people will be there to cheer us on and keep us going. Over the past 4-5 weeks the cross country team have been giving up there lunch times every Tuesday to practse running around the school field as many times as they can without stopping . Two weeks ago Rebecca(me), Keeley, Marie and Manar ran the field all togethor and overall me and Keeley done 10 whole laps then Marie and Manar beat their last score.  Miss Leeson was really proud of us for all the hard work . If it weren't for Miss Leeson , to be honest I wouldn't of been able to run as much as I do now . Thanks to Miss Leeson and all the cross country team.. xx :-)

Hi i'm here to talk about what we have been doing in my class. We have been learning about Still Life Paintings and different shadings. Still Life Paintings are painters who drew the paintings from life and they can draw many diffreent pictures like; Fruit, vases, flowers, baskets, tables and many other things. Everyone in the class have done paintings of different types of fruit like; dragon fruit, passion fruit, peppers.

In the six weeks holiday my mum got a new boyfriend and his name is Danni but i call him Danni-Boi and i met his son called Reece and so that we got used to each other Danni othered to take me Reece my mum and himself to the cinema to watch G-Force it was really cool but before we went to the cinema we went to poundland and we got lots of sweets and so after that we went to the cinema and it was pitch black in there while we were waitin for other people. My favourite part was at the end because Flo Ridas new song came on and the guinea pigs started to dance and the fat guinea pig that always farts started doing the moon walk and the worm and the hamster started riggiling his bum and doing funky moves and so after that we had some lunch i had a cheese burger and chips with a mac flurry afterwards. xx

Hello everyone i just wont to let you now that in the 6 weeks holiday i went modelling with my mums mates daughter as it was her birthday and i really good fun. When we got there we had to put ar pyjamas on and take our hair done. The photographer put down these huge teddys and that where bigger then us when we sat down and we got pictures tooken with my mums mates son in and the dog got to be in it. Then he took pictures of us jumping in the air and after that we had to put cocktail dresse's on and had make up on so we all looked pretty and then we had to sit on a stool and put our hands in our hair so it looked like we were stressted. That evening we went to the Inperial which is a chinese resturant and as much food as you wanted. Hello All,

I would like to talk to you about the Cookery Club for year 5's. We will be teached by Tracey Stewart . Towards the end of last term Tracey spent a week being trained at Ashlyns training kitchen working alongside one of Jamie Oliver's chef. There will be a maxmian of 5 familys per session and the progect will be going on for about 5 weeks.

I am pleased to tell you all, that the whole of year 5 will be taking part in Upstarts Project on the 30th of March. We will be travelling to Colchester University on coach, thats 23 miles away. This opputunity will help children be more active and develop there confiedence. We will take part in a series of tests before we are aloud to have fun. We will be able to do.....

1. An Olympic Road Show

2. A full assement pre and post programme completed by Essex University.

3. Weekley activity sessions on the school site.

4. Weekley cooking club on the site- trained and developed by Jamie Oliver's chefs.

5. Activties during holidays and weekends where appropriate linked to the local sports clubs.

6. A film - produced to document the entire programme and outcomes of the project.

We all will enjoy it and I, Rebecca will add photo's of all the fun we will have.

In TP12 we have been making Rockets and testing them to fly. The person taht came first was Brook because he didn't put paint in his bottle so it wasn't heavy. The person that came second was Jonathan because his was not that heavy and he didn't put alot of paint in.

Hi Everyone, Its Rebecca, Sunday was excellent when we went to the Royal Albert Hall. We saw the Gerkin which looked like a long Gerkin. We saw Big Ben and at 10 o,clock Big Ben DONGED really loud. Our presenter was Sid from the TV show Cbeebies and he was really funny. Mrs Eden Blacker looked really preety and she shone that night. The end song I didn't now at all and so I pretended it was so funny.

Hello Everyone,

This week I slept round my nans, for a week with my cousin Rosie. I have enjoyed it because on Friday we are making little sponge cakes and decorating them with icing. On Monday we went to take the dogs out but is started spitting. On Tuesday we went into town to get food shopping and my cousin Rosie had a bacon roll, I had a crabstick sandwich, I really loved it because I love seafood. On Wednesday my nans friend came round and today he is taking us out. Can't wait.

I will see you all in September.

Guess what in 4 weeks time I am getting a new kitten. Bradleys cat had kittens and I am going to have one. The colour of the cat will be tabbie and it will just look its mother. I can't wait because I have another cat and it is a boy and they can friends. I am so glad because my cat won't be alone. At the moment I am at my nans on her laptop. I can't wait till Monday and meet our new teacher.

Today in the afternoon we where aloud to go on what ever we wanted to in the I.C.T suite and I choose Comic Life. The reason why I choose Comic Life was because I enjoyed making Comics. Here is the Comic that I done on Comic Life.

Today we have made designs for our driftwooods this is a picture of mine.

The reason why I choose this picture out of 3 because it isn't to complecated and that it is not so hard to put on wood. I like this picture because there aren't alot of objects on it.

 Today nearlly all the girls in this class had a fall out after lunch so we sat in a circle and and done a round robin it was so fun. We said all our feelings and what happend . After Mr Funess said that we can have a big hug and we made up.

Chocolate Faces - Frankie, Shannon Cr, and Keeley have been working on a new chocolate product called Chocolate Faces. Hi everyone its Rebecca and I would like to tell you what my targets are they are To not be silly in the classroom, to not panick when I don't now the answer to problems and to read through my work before I give it to my teacher. This week all my class are doing there reports and some of us are putting there targets in them so there parents now what there son/daughters targets are and they now that they can improve it.

I fell asleep and awoke on a dessert Island with a beautiful bowl of sardines. I heard the soft singing I had heard when I was on the boat that night.

I saw myself under lots of palm trees put together so I got up and ''Ouch that hurt'' there was something under the mud a man came out of the trees and uncovered the pig that was cooking under ground it was amazing. He gave me a plate of pig it was delicious.

After my breakfast had gone down I went to wash my face in the sea I heard some barking 2 minute's later I saw Stella Artois she was licking my face ''Stella are you ok'' and she gave me a lick I said to the man did you save my dog the man gave me a nod . I felt grateful for the man who saved Stella Artois I thought I would never see her agian she means loads to me.

As the day went on it got very very hot and I thought I was going to melt. I was surprised that Stella Artois hadn't melted yet amazing how they don't. Today I hadn't heard much from the man who saved me. First of all I thought I was going death. Anyway I was really worried about my family most of all.
